Helton top candidate for WKU HC job

ring a round the rosey pocket full of posey...good luck Ty...we hardly knew ya...maybe you'll be better at learning how to be a head coach...and possibly, with better coaches and players...:p

GO VOLS...RECRUIT LIKE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bama is power based because they can run if they want to, that is the key you have to be tough up front. Modern and innovative is all well and good, but the bottom line is it works because they can play power football up front. Teams that try that so called modern and innovative play book without a power OL doesn't work in the sec. This is and always will be a LOS league, I love to throw as much as the next guy but short quick throws and spreading everyone out doesn't work with a weak O-Line with no time to throw because they know you can't run. When we can do both we will start moving the football. GBO!

Take it a step further and look at what Missouri did to us a couple of weeks ago. Ran the ball down our throats repeateldy with their 2nd string RB even with a probable 1st rd pick at QB.

Agree that it's a LOS league ( something Lyle was incapable of understanding based on his recruiting) but even Bama has been updating their route tree and putting elements of the spread into the passing game to take advantage of Tagavailoas skill set.

He signed with some team in the new pro league that starts in feb.. I don’t remember where I heard that but I think it’s true.
He is currently listed as the Offensive Coordinator of the Arizona Hotshots. He apparently was hired in October. Would love to have him myself but I think the chances are slim to none.

Does Pruitt promote from within...Chris Weinke or other...or outside? Helton followed our team's trajectory this year, so I don't know how to feel about the move, if it happens. Some really good game schemes in SC/KY/Aub, but disappeared in other games, when more was expected...Vandy/Miz.
