I know we have a couple different threads on Helton and where he might end up but Chris Low about as solid as solid gets when it comes to Tennessee news

Yes, how lucky. We can only be so fortunate to continue the trend of no stability or continuity.
I would tend to agree except the offense was a complete train wreck this year and even with a dumpster fire OL and bad QB Helton's playcalling was atrocious.

Staff turnover happens at every program every year. Bama has changed OC and DC and numerous other staff in the past couple of years with no issue. And the coordinators they lost were actually good.

There is a pretty big difference in the dynasty that is Alabama and the dumpster fire that is Tennessee...

I know there’s a difference but having a coordinator there for a long time doesn’t mean too much, especially when the coordinator gets his plays from a Cracker Jack box.

If Helton leaves the replacement will be initially disappointing and then enthusiastically swallowed by the hapless faithful.
I’m not saying I want him gone, but I don’t think him staying or leaving is a game changer and if he gonna leave, I like that we don’t pay a buyout for his contract.

Lol true. He stinks the SEC up all year and gets offered a head coaching job. WKU actually won their last two games. Wonder how long this has been in the works?
