Eh, I'm going through a similar thing. I think the hardest thing is discerning the difference between who she is truly and who you wish she was. We tend to blur that line when emotions run rampant. If you focus on the difference between the two, it makes it easier to move on.

I didnt read the whole thread, but here is a suggestion that always works.


Take her to dinner, afterwards, ask her if she wants to play "bear". She will almost immediately ask what that is. You respond with.....you growl and I will throw you the meat.

You will know immediately if the relationship is a go or not.

I'm not sure what the hell is going on now. She called me earlier to see if I were at work, so she could come by and see me.

She got here and gave me a big hug and we were talking. She said "once you're a CNA I want you to come work at the hospital with me. That way we can see each other every day and take our break together". I'm supposed to be going to put her sons crib together and she said "I would tell you to come over tonight but I'll probably be asleep once you're off".


WTF is going on!!??
