Fans are only boosters when they DONATE money to the University. Otherwise, they are NOT boosters.

Perhaps the next message to be painted on the rock should be: "Recruits, we would like to welcome you to the University of Tennessee but the NCAA, in its infinite lack of wisdom, says that we can not address you by name."

Whatever it takes to bring the talent home!!!!

Heck for that matter I'd chase them in a bikini, but that could be pretty ugly.
On second thought the banner on the truck is a great idea!

I love our fans. We got to the rock this morning to hang up the banner and the damn thing had already been painted. We almost hated to cover it up but we figured "as soon as compliance yanks our's down, they'll have another surprise underneath. :)

I can't help, but wonder...What if a huge banner was hung from a dorm room saying names of recruits. Then said person left the dorm room and locked it...Would it get taken down, if so how?

Compliance Dept needs to get it: Sometimes you take the secondary to land the big boys. Ask Saban and Meyer.

They are just doing a little "covering that a$$" speak. That way they can say that they don't condone usage of the rock for recruiting. If the compliance office was that concerned the rock would be moved or a fence built around it.
