I'm looking for pictures of the inside of TB. Arena. I'm looking for basketball tickets and the only ones i can seem to find are in the upper deck.. anyone been there before? Can you see the game from the upper deck?

Any advise on where to find good tickets at reasonable prices?

Thanks!!

Yeah you can see it and you get a good experience, i just think its more fun to be closer to the action, but if thats all you can get then go, its worth going to if you have to be in standing room only, its just a great feeling being there. It's just like Tennessee football, still great from the top row.

I'm looking to go to a TN basketball game but am running into the issue of the only tickets availible being in the upper deck. I don't think you can see the game well from the upper deck so i'm hesitant to buy these. Buying thru a ticketbroker would cost 50+ bucks per ticket and I think that is outrageous.

My question is.. if you go to a game and there are empty seats in another section.. can you move seats? or are there people that check your tickets to prevent you from moving sections?

Thanks,

Depending on the game, you can often find very reasonable tickets outside the arena. For example, I saw plenty of Texas tickets for $20 or less last weekend.

As for the upper levels (200 and 300's), the closer, the better (of course). From the side or corners, you are in good shape if you're close. TB is a big place, so be wary of the nosebleeds.

As for moving closer into empty seats: I wouldn't count on it. The ushers are pretty tight about checking stubs.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, darn you, Bruce Pearl - LOL! Before he came along, at the first media timeout, it would be announced that "those of you sitting in the upper sections can move down to the lower section where seating is available". Win a couple of games and see what happens? Now people come to the games and you can't move down!

Oh, yes - the ONLY thing I miss about BuzzBall - buying 300-level tickets online, then moving down to pretty much wherever I felt like sitting after the first media timeout.

I'm going to the TTU game tomorrow and plan to buy scalped tickets; what should I expect to pay if I want 200 or even 100 level seats?

I paid $25 for 7th row behind the TN bench against Texas so I would imagine on a cold Thursday night at 7 pm you could find lower level seats in the $10 range.

I agree you should be a able to get pretty good seats at the game from a scalper for much less than 50 a piece

I'll be planning on spending somewhere in the $20-25 range for GOOD tickets.

I've found tickets in section 125 row 25 lower level corner for $20 bucks a piece.. Is this a good deal ?

With the students gone and some Tennessee fans already gone to Florida for the football game, you should be able to find good lower level seats for around $20, maybe $25, for tonight's game and probably Saturday night's game against ETSU. After that the SEC schedule starts and football season will be over, and good lower level seats may be a little harder to find and the prices a little more expensive.

I just got some freebies on the 12th row section 107, right behind the visiting bench!!! :) :dance2: :)
