In many cases fraud of many different types are not and cannot be followed with charges because they simply use a different ID or social security card or move away! I worked with a guy who was employed by a company who routinely had hispanic workers that had worked for the company under three or four different names.

I thought you guys on the right liked using their services to drive down wages and to provide cheap labor? I know this problem is due to the liberals :whistling: but why didn't Bush do something between 2000-06 when he had full power of our government?

How about he is a complete failure and grew the government in a way that would make FDR proud.

I don't understand by democrats don't like Bush. He is every thing that they dream of.

A cheap shot from a lib.. how original. :) I think everyone knows what Bush's stance on illegals is, so I'm not even going into that.

Well I am glad to see you stand up for the goodness of mankind but I do have some questions. Where is this "cheap shot" you speak of and since you are so concerned why don't you call out the cheap shots coming from the other side?

He just happens not to be a Hollywood pandering pacifist. Otherwise, he would have been the perfect Dem.

Well, he's painted himself as every Democrat since FDR, so I'd actually say you're correct. But Bush is in a league of his own, Democrat or Republican, in terms of bad leadership and choices.

Choices have been poor, but we've never had a lesser "Leader" than Jimmy Carter. Bush has turned out to be generally stupider, but the leadership comparison isn't even close.

I agree. Carter is an extremely intelligent man, but a horrific leader.

yeah let me refer to you to the bureau of statistics for undocumented illegal immigrants. i'm sure many are willing to submit to surveys admitting they are defrauding a country in which they are living illegally. and it would be very shocking to find out law breakers have little qualms defrauding the govt.

Illegal immigrants are ineligible for welfare. VERY few are actually successful in obtaining these benefits through fraudulent means with the onset of the new I-9 regulations and REAL ID.

Welfare is not the only issue at hand here. There are a lot of Federally funded programs that Illegal Immigrants receive. Schools, Roads, Bridges, Airports, Courts, and so on. The burden is much bigger than the benefit.

Under our constitution, those particular benefits are available to anyone within the US, regardless of citizenship status. There's this little thing called the Due Process Clause. Are you pushing for an Amendment here?

The US constitution says we have to allow Illegal Immigrants to go to our schools and we must provide ESL classes? IDTS. Due Process may apply in courts though. And, yes if I were King for a day there would be a new Amendment. I like to call it the Common Sense Clause.

Let's just use California as an example.. 16 billion in the hole and a city is going bankrupt. Any coincidence they have possibly the largest illegal immigrant population and one of the highest tax rates?

yes please. these things are a magnet for illegals to come into the united states. convicts have fewer rights than average americans. please explain to me how illegal immigrants, LAWBREAKERS, should be given these rights?
