On topic, Bill if you're ever over this way and have some time to kill (not sure you would, but I'll throw it out there), you're more than welcome to come to my school and talk to my students about your experiences one day. I'd have to clear it with my principal (not a problem), but it would be good for some of them to hear, I think. They need to learn about life experiences, too, and I try to do that as much as I can. But it'd be good to have an "outsider" who didn't "have" to be there, I think. Just a thought.

Good luck in your new job capacity. My advice would be for you to always look at what your predecessor did, but don't be afraid to put your own "stamp" and personality on the job. You'll find a way through it, even if it feels overwhelming and leads to gray hairs.

I’d love to speak to your school one day. I’m working on getting into all our schools here. There’s a very large anti vax scene here and a lot aren’t interested solely based on The mandate. Such a weird time.

My roommate at the recruiting school almost wound up in the Norton/Wise recruiting station which I’m almost positive would be the one that covers your school

It probably is. I'm not sure. I know our recruiter from the past few years wound up taking the same position somewhere in eastern Kentucky.
I have not seen our new recruiter at all this year.
As you say, it is a weird time. Nothing is "normal" anymore.
