Dont be such an idiot. Swain is coaching kids to succeed in life. Would he love for them to come to UT...heck ya, but they are kids. he just wants to see them make something of themselves

I couldn't say why Oregon fans would give a damn about UT. What I can say is that I live in Oregon and know quite a few Ducks "fans". With one notable exception, they wouldn't know Knute Rockne from Newt Gingrich.

Well...Helfrich was their head coach. Probably the same reason we still make threads everytime Kiffin or Dooley make the news.

I understand that things will likely happen after the coaches convention, but I hope it happens sooner rather than later. First and foremost for recruiting cause the uncertainty of staff changes is hurting us, but if we make improvements on staff it should help us especially if we get Helfrich and Hoke. I think most DBs know that WM is likely gone so that's hurting us for sure. I expect changes to start trickling over the next 2 weeks. So we can finish strong in recruiting.

Still feeling comfortable and confident in our chances with Helfrich and Hoke, still not sure about who new DB coach is, and what will be done with S&C. Definitely need new OL coach probably Debord but hopefully someone proven.

Didn't realize Swain was a coach at all. What school does he work at? Does he host any camps? Being that the answer to both of those questions are no. Why is he 'coaching' anyone that's not related to him? Seems like maybe he's overstepping his bounds.

Bring in Terry Fair to coach DBs, move Debord to the O-line, see if any ex-Vols are coaching WRs somewhere and bring them in as well. Maybe Swain wants a career change since he is busy coaching unrelated kids without a school to coach for.

I believe he coaches at some 7v7 camps during the summer circuits.

I really like Terry Fair and he is a guy I hope we hire. But not sure it happens. I definitely want Shoop to have an active role in the Defensive staff changes...

I fully believe Mahoney is fired, Debord moves to CO-OC/OL coach and Helfrich is hired as CO-OC/QB coach, I think it makes too much sense.

I still don't know enough about Rock Gullickson if indeed he is the new SC guy, from what Ive learned id be ok with it. I would love to see us spend big money for one of the best SC guys. That needs to happen soon since winter workouts aren't too far away.

Alright so Helfrich and Hoke welcome aboard. If only we could get terry fair at dbs, steal josh gattis from penn st. for wrs and have helfrich bring in a better oline coach!

With Debord now gone, Helfrich looks very likely.

Can also confirm that he was in downtown Nashville having lunch with Marcus Mariota the day of the Music City Bowl. Coincidence? Maybe, but I suspect he met with staff over the weekend
