Hefney's Combine

Hefney is working out for a return team spot according to league reports. He was not listed as one of the top performers. The top two were Brad Cottam and Jerod Mayo. Both turned in top performances, and turned a few heads.

One big problem is them letting outsiders write up the prospects. They have Ainge listed as missing time in each of his three seasons which is clearly wrong.

Well, it's half right and half wrong...He played 4 seasons...but, he missed time in each of his first three.

Unfortunately, he actually go worse over his time @ UT. Let's hope our young defensive backs do not follow this same trend.

I agree. I'm more worried about Dennis Rogan and Brent Vinson. I remember that Heffney and Rashaun Fellows were both Freshman All-America but both got worse over time.

Hefney was the biggest disappointment on the team this year. Eric Berry showed up Hefney. And I am still clueless on why Larry Slade is still our secondary coach. He should have been gone 5 years ago.

I was really hoping the retiring rumors were true. Oh well, maybe he can turn it around.:ermm:

The only reason I think he is still here is he's an ok recruiter.

He's African-American and that honestly helps some in recruiting.
