Heartbreaking losses

Team has got to want to win before losses become heartbreaking! More like disgusting to watch.

Heartbreaking losses didn't start this year. There were some memorable late-game wins with Bruce, but there were also a ton of losses on last-second shots or tip-ins where the winning scorer was left undefended.

Yeah...reminds me of UK losing 4 or so games by 2 pts last year. Add another for getting butt raped at UGA as well.

Teams go through this. Imagine if the season had been opposite. Luck is dumb...but it's there. Coulda beat Memphis, UK, UGA easily with a little.

Brian Williams at UGA last year was a good one.

It was honestly the exception. If the game was decided at the horn, we usually lost with Bruce. He had a great record when winning or tied with 5:00 left. I'm not saying we were constant choke artists. We just seemed to be out of position on the very last play a lot. The Elite Eight loss was one of those.

Bruce always seemed to get the short side of the stick...almost felt bad...almost...
