So I'm watching the Heart induction and apparently the sisters and the band fell out years ago. They decided to play at the ceremony and they played one song together.

The original guitarist - Roger Fisher - is an awesome and under-rated guitar player.

So for the second song they did, the Wilson sisters booted their band and had a bunch of others come up to play Barracuda - a song that Fisher co-wrote. It's an iconic guitar song and the guy responsible for it got kicked to the curb for some reason.

[/rant]

The main point is that Fisher really was/is a great guitar player.

With regards to the first part of the topic, I wish Elvis Costello could done something similar and have let Bruce Thomas play when the Attractions were inducted into the HoF. He was an excellent bass player.

I refuse to watch or acknowledge the RnR HoF until they let KISS in (original line up of course). It's an absolute disgrace that they aren't in there!

Outside of a few songs I never really cared for Kiss that much. That being said, I agree with you that they should be in the RRHoF.
Of course that's a sorry excuse for not watching the lovely Nancy Wilson perform

Just goes to show a woman never forgets being cheated on and I guess if you cheat on one sister you cheat on the other

Always loved the bass player for EC and Attractions - if he got similarly dissed then I'm similarly pissed.

Apparently that's the issue. Sucks because the one song he got to play he rocked and in subsequent interviews described it as a complete joy.

He did, Davey Faragher played bass for EC when the Imposters got on stage. Only time Bruce was on stage was during EC's speech and EC pretty much snubbed him even there. As a huge fan of Elvis I like to know what caused the falling out between the two. Thomas was an excellent bass player on the Attractions. Really made their music great.

agree about bass player for Attractions - here's an example that immediately came to mind (from one of my fav albums)
