"The University of Tennessee Police Department is reminding students to be extra safe in their dorms after they said a group of men assaulted and robbed a student in a residence hall.
In a notice to the campus community, officials said that a burglary and assault incident happened at Stokely Hall at around 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. They said that a person's roommate answered the door and was immediately assaulted by one male.

They said that three or four other males entered the apartment and walked to a room where they took items from the victims.
Both a witness and the victim said they did not know the suspects' identities.
Police said that they tried to find out more information from the victim but he refused to discuss the incident.
In the safety notice, police recommended people avoid propping doors open and allowing visitors to walk in behind them.
They also recommended people confirm the identity of visitors before opening the door.
Information about the items that were stolen or the cause of the incident was not immediately available."

Takes me back to the glory years when a young Travis Henry was caught in a similar situation at Gibbs Hall in his early years. Best part he reassured Coach Fulmer he would never steal from a teammate.

Said it many times, people didn't want to know what was going on during the glory years of the 90's.

Actually, that happened at the Pilot, and it was Jackson, Nu'Keese Richardson, and one other guy. Playing stick up with a pellet gun. My solution includes public corporal punishment. Some people say they don't want choir boys on the football team. I says get them voice teachers.

Shame on folks throwing names around, I seem zero confirmation of any player. But leave it to come on here and find names without substance. Now having said that if any are involved in a robbery I don't want them. But I remember AJ Johnson, who got shafted for nothing but a poor decision to sleep with a scorned woman. He didn't rape nobody but the accusation ruined him. I hate it when people on a keyboard that want to feel important just makeup stuff. I am just talking in general not a specific case. Let's not aid in potentially ruining a reputation over something we do not know the facts on yet. It may be something, it may have nothing to do with football players or it may be something in between. Let's find out the truth before we create more damage. GBO!

I have no names to throw out. But the incident did happen and it did involve players from the football team.

Maybe they were just trying to be Good Samaritans and knew some kid in the next dorm over was dealing. So they knocked on the door, took his stash, flushed it and went about their business. Y’know, an intervention type of thing.
Our players may have saved another kids life for all we know.
