If there are gonna be changes in the offseason, you will hear abut it then and only then. We are in the middle of the season and have a chance to finish with 3 losses and make a good bowl. Also we have an outside shot at getting to Atlanta although not likely. Why would any coach tell any staff members they are gone at seasons end before the season ended? It would disrupt everything. Use some common sense people.

FWIW I think Debord stays and our offense will look much different next year. The players love him. Currently we are running the offense to maximize the strengths of our players. Thus more running and less passing. Next year we will have either Dormady or Guarantano or Jones at QB and will have more ability to pass the ball. Our offense will look like the 2009 Central Michigan offense or some that Butch had at Cincinnati. It won't be that Bebord or Butch suddenly learned how to call plays better, it will be that they have a different skill set at QB and are able to do different things. Dobbs limits what we can do passing the ball but makes up for it running the ball. He had a bad game last Saturday but I think he rebounds and we win out! Go Vols!

well, as it turns out, our top player wasn't committed to the team. Also, I think I heard something about injuries, maybe like on the offensive... I mean, it's not like we set any offensive records against SEC opponents on the road or anything

this is jones offense why hate debord hes not running his offense this is jones so why hire another offense coord when it will be the same unless jones will let that person run their own offense

There will be a scramble to prep for a televised press conference the evening that DeBord is to depart. The athletics department will provide the accommodations and support required. DeBord will announce his immediate departure from Tennessee. He will not mention being shown the door. He will acknowledge no questions on that. He will spew platitudes and nonsensical drivel. He will speak of himself in glowing terms, expressing his true appreciation for the opportunity to mentor for a time "young" coaches and student athletes at Tennessee, proclaiming the Volunteer program prepared to accomplish great things going forward.

Sports hacks will be reminded of Kiffin's exit...

Debord is running CBJ's offense. You think a Michigan guy would be running this weak offense? Unless CBJ sees his Pat White/ Steve Slayton doesn't work without Pat White and Steve Slayton or a physical O line then whoever he brings in will run this same system. That's the offense our non coordinator head coach believes in and all this begins and ends there.
