i'd agree i think 12k. let's put it this way the SC game sold out much faster than the vols game and SC has never brought more than 20k max.

how does one determine such a thing anyway?

it's impossible to know. even cal wouldn't necessarily know who was buying tickets. You had 7,500 allocated. I think another 5K for an across country game sounds right and would be darn impressive anyway. 27K is not going to happen. Take a look at stubhub there isn't that kind of demand for this game.

No way we end up with that many. That would be a embarrasment to cal for letting it happen.I would say 12-15 at best.I woould be surprised if we end up with fifteen. That just seems like alot to me

The longer the game didn't sell out the more likely UT fans got the tickets

how many does the stadium hold, If we have even 20k that would be awesome, hopefully they'll bring their megaphones

i don't see your logic. if there was a bunch of tenn ticket demand surely the game would have sold out quicker. not every person who bought individual tickets was a vol fan. at best 1/3.

and cal's stadium holds 72K

Gee, someone just told me we brought 107,000.

C'mon guys. We probably brought about 12,000 or so. That's pretty good. 25,000 or 30,000 is practically impossible.

Sorry,I forget to mention,I also heard that another team had brought around 30k a couple of yrs ago,so I don't think it's out of the question,so we'll see.

Cal's performance those years rivaled stanfords...

But anyway - how many did Cal bring to Neyland last year?

I'm here right now maybe we can do a headcount on Volnation :p - 4

Anyway - I'd say like 18k would be the max and that would be insane.
