Indirectly.
1) Changing the platform at the convention.
2) Refusing to follow explicit Congressional direction to impose sanctions, and when they are finally imposed they are cut and paste from some other document and done so that there was plenty of time for the Russians to shift things to minimize any impact.
3) Various Trump campaign officials charged with, or facing charges of, lobbying for Russian interests and engaging in financial crimes with them.
4) The Trump administration attempting to set up back channels with Russia, using Russian spying stations as the means, so as to avoid any detection or monitoring by the US or our allied foreign intelligence services.
5) Trump's repeated lies about his own connections to Russia.
6) The Trump Tower meeting.
7) The Russia-wikileaks connection, which was pro-Trump (whether it worked, or not).
8) Trump's obsession with outright blocking or discrediting investigation into any of the above.
You may not think that this will amount to anything. And, you may think this is all just coincidence. But, it seems clear that there was some level of connection there and given the power of the Presidency if there was or is improper foreign influence over him, particularly from a power such as Russia, it needs a thorough look-see.
