Just bought my airline tickets online for CAL AND IM SOOO DANG EXCITED!!! even though its 6 months away!

I was checking out this airline..skybus.com they had roundtrip to San Francisco for 175.00, but you had to drive to Columbus, OH (5 1/2 hrs).

ahh...it's not that bad. Going into Cincinnati looks awesome...the drive from Cincinnati to Columbus is a little (read: pretty darn) boring...but I've made worse drives. 5 and 1/2 hours to just go get on a plane for another 4.5 or so isn't too exciting though.

Two days ago I saw a fare on Delta from TYS-SFO for $276 plus fees. You had to change planes twice and deal with a couple of layovers, but it's a good price. It was flying out the weekend before, though.

You can get a flight from Nasvhille to Oakland right now for about 230 dollars after taxes and fees..which isn't bad. I used flexible dates search on a certain travel website and found several in the right time range. For ex., a continental flight only had one stop each way for that price....unfortunately you have to travel from tuesday to wednesday of the next week.....and the wednesday flight is really the tuesday night redeye back this way...kind of sucks...but it is only one stop in Houston and is pretty darn cheap for that far away.

:eek:lol: A good buddy of mine goes to Ohio State, got me free Michigan vs OSU tickets (I refuse to put "the" in front of it) that's the only reason I've been to the state.

i've had to go several times for work and i even got to make the lovely drive from Memphis to Pittsburgh a couple of years ago, so i've had the "pleasure" of driving up and down and across the Godforsaken state......and it just blows.

It's not as bad as Arkansas, though.
