I’m sure there was no talent difference. He coached his team all the way to the end and UT won that game by the skin of our teeth. He’s since beaten Franklin and then worked Harbaugh over both who had considerably more talent.

We are not hiring a new head coach!!! This guy has 2 recruiting classes under his belt a d is still dealing with Butch Jones players. If you had expectations that we were gonna be a threat in the East this year then that’s your own fault.

He’s got 3 recruiting classes. Same number that Mullen has had. And Mcelwains recruiting was no better than Butch’s. Also how many recruiting classes has Pittman had?

On same page as not ready to be a threat.

But we just got stomped by KY and Arkansas.

We are bottom dwellers now.

Pittman outcoached him big time last night.

For every hire, it’s been a graveyard! It’s just more of the same. Not sure who we would get to come here and get this corrected.

The first thing is to determine why we always end up fishing in the bottom of the barrel. Is it overly involved alumni? Not paying enough? Something else?

Second, correct the first issue and make a commitment to hiring a top shelf replacement.

Maybe Urban, Stoops or Peterson would entertain a return to coaching. Maybe not, but put together a lucrative package and find out.

If not them, look for coaches who are doing more with less like Freeze, Campbell, etc. Those are the guys who can truly coach.

At the end of the day, Tennessee has the facilities and history to be successful. Money talks and BS walks.

Well, I think Pruitt deserves another year, but since Leach & Kiffin were given chances, What about Steve Sarkesian?

Sark has HC experience, and also was an NFL OC.

If you can't see the writing on the wall the Pruitt is not the one, sorry nobody can help you. The guy is just not a head coach.

Pruitt’s here a couple more years. His #1 focus should be developing Bailey starting today. A productive and game-winning Bailey next year keeps Pruitt his job. JG gets him fired.

I hear there's a legendary analyst down at Bama who might be available. Word is they're only paying him 35k a year so I'm sure he would appreciate a 5 year contract at 3.5m per year, with a big fat buyout.
