Disagree. With Pruitt's history at UGA, there's no way in hell he would peacefully assume the role of DC under a new head coach. You make a change at the top, you don't keep the guy he replaced on the staff. No way no how.

Problem is that unless you’re getting Dabo or Urban or Saban everyone else is either unproven in the SEC or has other issues and you’re just risking yet another 4 year hit or miss

Probably true but Dabo or other big name coaches aren't knocking down our door to come here. An up and comer can't get us any lower than where we are. No one wanted this job when we got Pruitt. Coaches flirted with us to get pay raises from the school they were ready at.

If people want Pruitt gone thinking we are going after chris petersen or Dabo you may as well hang onto Pruitt. You'll be upset in the end

Interim would be fine, but I don't really care to keep tee on this staff. His WR's haven't done squat and it seems that he's been unable to get the younger, faster, more athletic kids up to speed and contributing. Just don't think he's much of a coach. The thought of him at a head coach...well...I can't wrap my head around that one. Appreciate him as a player, but let him coach somewhere else.

We should have hired Freeze last time around. If we get a second shot at him, we need to go all in on hiring him. I suspect he'd have great interest in the job.

He was being looked at for OC no? Thought the SEC was blocking teams from hiring him?

Also not sure what the hype is about Freeze anyway. He had a few good seasons at Ole Miss and was caught cheating...

His best record was 11-3. We were unhappy with Fulmer when he had 2 losses
..and fired him for two bad years. We would kill for a 6 win season right now

Urban Myers because hiring someone with two championships already would be a better way then hiring someone hoping they might one day get their first.
