Looking more and more like Muschamp will be available. We’ll probably buy out his contract with South Carolina and offer an 8 year deal at 7 mil per year. I think we could get him for that.

And SC gets Freeze. Nope. No way do I want Muschamp when Freeze is out there. No more taking unproven or mediocre. We need Freeze with this hire. Don't care if he pushes the envelope in recruiting. Hell, every program does. Not hiring a choir boy. I need a football coach for a change and Freeze has certainly shown himself to be one of the best...AND he's beaten Saban twice I believe. Not many head coaches can make that claim.

Hugh Freeze would be my one and only target. Hell, if I thought we could fire Pruitt and buy the guy out mid season, I'd do it. We and Freeze would catch all sorts of hell for being so "classless", but I don't really care anymore. When we're winning and competing in the east next year, I don't think it will bother me one little bit.

It’s time we hire someone with some marital discord. Maybe a guy who’s mistress is part of the deal or his real wife can be the “recruiting coordinator”

I mean UT will eff it up anyway so why not make it entertaining ?

We had our shot to bring Kiffin back and passed. No reason for him to leave his current job, he is coaching in the best league. Let’s be honest, the expectations would be much higher for him to win here at Tennessee.

This is the one time I think Volnation is united. Some people may not want to talk about firing the coach but, unlike our other failures, you don’t see anybody really supporting him. Which is a statement in itself considering how early it is in the Pruitt tenure.

Very risky. The demands of this job are night and day from Coastal Carolina. Not saying he wouldn't succeed, but we just can't take another chance on an unproven up and comer type. Just can't.

Here's the problem: if you get Kiff to leave a job after one year to come to a job he left after one year, all you've done is proven that he hasn't learned from his mistakes and neither have you.
