Head Coaching Candidates?

Only for those that suffer from poor reading comprehension skills.

It's a stupid thread that encourages more ignorance by stating the obvious.

This program needs to rebuild and nobody enjoys losing...Fans want somebody to blame and the coach accepts responsibility for everything this team does or fails to do.....

Are we getting our money's worth in CDD?....

Will he turn things around?

Will He clean it up?

Is he right fit for the job?

Is it premature to ask this?

Fans don't like to be jerked around?

Is he a Class Act?

Will the new AD support him?

Is he under a microscope of course?

Yes to all above.......

Will he restore the program in 4-6 years to the elite level we were in the 90's? TBD

no pressure when Fl brought the house and we had no answer. Leaving Rainey wide open without a spy the whole game when it was clear he was going to get the ball, going for two when not necessary, seeing the blocked punt formation and Dooley admitting he should have called a time out, and most of all giving up an easy touchdown on the first series just like always when Fl as staed by Dooley didn't do anything that was unexpected. I could go on but my fingers are tired of typing.

The Spy mishap was due to youth....Most of the mistakes were youthful and inexperience mistakes.....

This team does not have a shut down spy at the moment........

There is no more proof that Mullen is a good coach at this point then there is Dooley. He had one good year, but many coaches have had one good year, for example Charlie Weis took Notre Dame to two BCS Bowl Games. Based off of your logic we should consider him before Mullen. Plus, Mullen is still playing with the previous coaches players, lets see what kind of talent he can bring in and what that talent can do for him before we go crowning him a great coach.

year is our very own version of a Saban wannabe. Ain't and let me repeat ain't going to happen. He has an all time losing record and has never beaten a quality team. Just look at how we come out to play, we are busted every game. Really prepared huh?

Dooley's poor coaching is responsible for all of that? Wow, I had no idea the players were expected to execute. Going for two could have waited, but at the time it appeared we were going to have to do it eventually. The failure to call timeout before the blocked punt I'll accept, however.

The OP simply asked for opinions from those folks that don't like Dooley as head coach. The stupid posts after that were from posters that rode the short bus apparently. I agree with these points, BTW

Pretty sure I didn't see where the OP said he wanted Dooley gone.

I like how you just ignore every single one of points about Mullen, you might as well start your post off with I Fijivol72 am the biggest idiot on this board, and I repeatedly talk out of my azz even though I don't know the difference between a football and a purse. Now instead of being a little puss like you, I am actually going to respond to your points. To your first point, do you actually seriously believe that thanks to previous coaches that he has had the experience and talent to beat a quality team in his 1 year and 3 games here? And do not tell me he has been coaching longer than that, because there is no way in he** that you could've expected him to beat a quality team at Louisiana tech. As to how we come out and get busted, you cannot blame that all on coaching, in both games that you are referencing, the defense was put in the right place by the scheme of the coaching staff and the players missed those tackles. Give these players time under this coaching staff, and those fundamental errors on the part of the players will be taken care of.

OP came in with guns blazing. OP should be the next head coach! He's got ballz.

I see a number of members don't like CDD so I was curious who are the realistic candidates those members would suggest as a replacement?

This was the original question. RIF

You don't want to hang around to the 30 post mark, do you?

I love Dooley. But if it ever came down to it I'd like for then to take all our chips and give it to Chris Peterson. Seems like a solid guy IMO. but I think he already turned us down.
