FYI, saying that makes you look stupid.

Opinions are subjective and obviously your a Butch Fan and are supportive of that. Stupid to me is being biased in an open forum to discuss everyones point of view. As far as those players on that list and my opinion of them lets just say none of them are as popular in the league as Peyton Manning and Bubba and Shockley are no Jason Witten

Nice accomplishment for those players but outside of Ray Lewis the others have never lived up to the hype in the NFL. Edgerrin has fallen since leaving Peyton, Reggie is ok, Shockey stays injured, McGahee average, Winslow is ok the rest is nothing special just utility players.
Butch got them to the NFL I will give him that

Jonathan Vilma, Vince Wilfork, Kellen Winslow Jr, Sean Taylor, Willis McGahee, Ray Lewis, Edgerrin James, Bubba Franks, Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, Jeremy Shockey, Ed Reed , Andre Johnson, have all made Pro Bowls.

To say those players outside of Ray Lewis haven't lived up to the hype is ridiculous. Ed Reed who you didn't mention, and evidently just lable him nothing special, just a utility player, will go down as one of the greatest safties ever.

AP NFL Defensive Player of Year (2004)

Sorry to disappoint you but Butch Davis will never leave UNC for UT. He's got a great situation at UNC, why would he leave for a floundering, dying program like UT? UT has no chance in the coming years in a conference where several teams have passed them by. He's better off building a power in the weak ACC

There are no home run candidates for the job. The situation is this: continue struggling and declining to mediocrity under Fulmer or endure a rebuilding period that will take years....and chances are the program will never be as competitive as it once was now that there is so much parity in college football. Simply recruiting great athletes and not coaching them properly is not good enough anymore.

Fulmer has been exposed as a bad coach, some of us have known it for years....without Cutcliffe he has no offense, he's lucky he still has Chavis to coach the defense. Cutcliffe and Chavis are the reason UT was good, Fulmer is just a figurehead. The team has no discipline, no heart, and is a pretty good reflection of Fulmer

Does anyone really think Mike Hamilton will stake his personal future to the coattails of Chris Petersen. Come on, think about that.

I left out Paul Johnson but its for selfish reasons, I love me some triple option football and he's doing a hell of a job at GT right now.

I think Peterson walked into a strong recruiting job from Dan Hawkins, i dont disagree that he isnt a great offensive coach, but the level of competition isnt that of SEC caliber
IMO
