You're right red.... his image was already a little shaky with what happened in Oakland. This just adds to it and if he doesn't win enough games it will come back to haunt him later.

I dont care what he says to meyer but burning bridges in pahokee fl might come back to bite you.

That's exactly my point... Its not only Pahokee but it's also all the other schools/coaches that now know that Kiffin might be up to no good when talking to their players. I guess we'll see in a year or so how his actions have affected his recruiting abilities.

I doubt it. He informed some pretty good athletes that were 100% ready to suit up for the Vols that they might do better at another school. That's honesty. Meanwhile, Urban Meyer has been accused of telling a QB recruit that Tim Tebow would be a linebacker.

Use the seach feature, per hubbs he has apologized to the coach and the administration. Their is also supposed to be another formal apology to the school.:hi:

act like u been there before.

actions speak louder than words.

any more cliches you wanna throw out? The writer's a hack and so are most of the people saying this is terrible for UT football. IMO, there's almost nothing CLK can say that would be any more embarrassing than what has happened to UT football in the past few years. I'll take 100 of his incorrect statements over a single loss to Wyoming.

Do you have a source or a link stating that he thought Tim Tebow would be a LB?? Come on man Tebow was THE biggest recruit he's had and you actually think he told recruits he would be a LB? Sometimes i wonder where you guys get this stuff.

Besides....The 2008 Ole Miss team, that was the ONLY team to beat the National Champions, was all with Coach O's players. Plain and simple. He might have had a sucky SEC record, but in the end he got the players in there, but it was a little too late.

Who exactly recruited Wyoming's players??

That's what Jevan Snead thought too, which is why he went to Ole Miss instead of Florida.

Quote??? Statement?? Don't see it.

PS if Meyer is such the liar why is it that he still seems to bring in top 10 recruiting classes??

That's the book where it is discussed. It's called reading! Top to bottom, left to right... a group of words together is called a sentence. Take Tylenol for any headaches... Midol for any cramps.

Maybe kids just want to play for a guy they think is a winner and some insignificant comment a coach makes at a booster banquet isn't going to affect the decision at all.

I've been a vol fan for 35 years and its about time we had a coach with some swagger and cockiness.

I love everything that Kiffin spews out of his mouth, it says we're not afraid and that's whats been missing from this team for a long time.

Actually, The ones that run their mouths more than Lamebrain is a few nitwits on this site. You morons have such a difficult time handling the truth. Just man up!!!!! Hopefully that's what Kiffen will do . Acting as a man , He has yet to do. He acts like a eight grader.A spoiled one at that.Rotten even. He stinks.Don't you guys get it.He is acting like a punk a$$ kid. That is not what being a professional NCAA Football coach is about. Keep your mouth shut and do your job. Work hard, don't blow hard. Earn respect, not ridicule. That is the only thing anyone, Vol fan and Vol hater know right now.He has a big mouth with a bad case of diarreah..........

.....Pot call the kettle black......at least he didn't commit a crime like you BB coach, Andy Kennedy, apparantly did!!

Let me help you guys out a bit... Yes, Jevan Snead wanted to play for florida but he didn't want to compete. He decided to sign with Texas thinking that he could be the guy there but when they named McCoy the starter he then TRANSFERED to Ole Miss where he could be the guys without any competition. Snead simply didn't want to compete and that's why he never signed with the Gators.

And it's so far fetched to believe that Urban recognized this trait and lied about Tim Tebow's future in an effort to sign a great backup QB? I mean, considering the physical nature of Tebow's play, Meyer had to think there was a good chance he'd get hurt. I'm sure he was pretty interested in having a reliable substitute.
