He is still on the Team...

I don't drama at all. I do point out when people are drama'ing.

Never said you insulted anyone. But this thread has plenty of folks winding up to insult either coach or player. And that's what the "this" in your first response is.

So take off the thin skin, put on a thicker skin, and re-read my response. It ain't about you, it's about the thread. You were just the guy who cryptically defended the mouth breathers who came before.

Trust me I've got thick skin.. when you work and live in a house full of grown ass men for half or more a year.. you better have thick skin.. I got that brotha..

Tell me about it. I spent 30 years in uniform surrounded by other "grown ass men" (and women). I think the rest of their body parts were grown, too.

What were we talking about?

Even if there is a story here, why is it always assumed that there is an evil villain and an innocent victim. especially since a football program is a large organization to make all the parts fit and be happy in their place. Some problems are matter of situation.

The voice of reason.

At least a third of VolNation will promptly put you on ignore.

But don't change, man. You nailin' it.

I did hear Jimmy say today that Trey would play and start at guard. Could he have taken Jack jones spot?

Exactly.

Not every little disagreement turns into an episode of Jerry Springer like it does on here. Haha.

Never understood the ignore button issue, I've been here awhile and never put anyone on ignore..
To me that's jus being caught up in feelings and such..

Recruiting great OL who take starting spots so talented backups transfer?

I'm sure this never happens at Bama, OSU, Georgia, LSU or any other school that recruits at a high level.

Oops, I just mentioned Tennessee with the (presumed) elite.

I'm not as smart as Ben Shipiro to assume things on this thread so I'll fold on this one. lol

I was reading the ESPN pages just this morning, saw Ole Miss players busted for shoplifting, a Bama player arrested in his car for DUI, an LSU player suspended from the team for unspecified "rules violations"..."

...and it hit me. Holy moly, we're doing so well off the field. Our lads are really doing great.

So one of our fellas takes a day or two off to throw a bit of a fit over some issue none of us know about, gets his head straight, comes back and everything's good.

And we're going to keep pole vaulting over THIS?

Spend a little time being thankful at how clean and drama-free Team 121 is. Not worrying about a tiny hiccup like a young man getting upset for a day or so.

Does anyone have actual evidence this rumor is true?

Or are we all being little old ladies in rocking chair knitting and gossiping?

But yeah. I'm trying to think of any promises someone could make to an O lineman? Like? Guaranteed bacon on demand? Burger King coupons?

They don't need proof to freak out

But Jack Jones quit the team over this past weekend. He was not at practice on Sunday but after a long talk with Butch, he decided to come back. Apparently he is upset over some promises that were given but have not come to fruition. Glad he is staying for the future of the O-Line. Again, not something to worry about but may want to keep an eye out moving forward.

If true, suck it up buttercup. Did butch tell him he would buy him as many taco supremes he wants whenever he wants them?
