He is still on the Team...

Threads like this remind me of the first time I ever went into a pet store that sold monkeys. At first, I was like "OOoooooohhhhh, monkeys!" Then they started slinging poop every where and it was "Eeeewwww, monkeys!".

Haha.

Good to see you man. Hope you're doing well today. I keep up with your thread and will add another prayer for you tonight at church.

But the supreme court has ruled that if Jack marries the girl then it's a bona fide relationship and she is welcome to come to the USA. This is clearly a matter for Jack to decide. Either say I do or shut up.

I couldn't agree more. Everyone involved in the VolLeader selection process needs to be fired for picking such an indecisive cry baby. To hear them talk up the VolLeader program and all the requirements to get selected, you would think they would have picked someone of strong character that really cares about our program as well as other people in general. Maybe seeing how much better off he would be in Nam changed him

I'm sorry, but if you're expecting to be handed the starting job then GTFO. We needs guys willing to compete and push each other to be better. I hope that's not the case here.

If he don't want to be here... bye Felicia. He would have played this year and he would have been the man next year. We just got stacked at Oline though. He can go if he wants to.

Interesting.. mmm another Tenn kid getting the same type of Butch treatment.. not saying it's right but is this some type of pattern with CBJ....
If this is true then I do feel more sympathy for Hurd. I still don't like the fact he quit but if promises were made to him then Butch was wrong plain and simple
Seems to be another developing pattern with CBJ if true.

Holy carp! The three of you have leapt to some vast conclusions based on hugely limited rumor-ish information. Might want to slow that roll a bit, we don't even know (1) if there was any promise made, (2) if so, if the promise was broken or delayed or what, and (3) whether the Jack Jones incident had ANY similarity at all to the Hurd situation.

Dudes, you are leaping to conclusions quicker than Superman leaps tall buildings.

The conspiracy theorists are here and completely predictable. Ugh.

Yes. Yes, they are. Astoundingly here.

Let's all lose our minds and start slinging schit.

Done. Can check that off the to-do list. :)

Does anyone have actual evidence this rumor is true?

No. We're freaking out anyway, man, it's what we do.

These guy should need to realize, Butch has a job to 1) get them on campus and 2) recruit someone better than them the next yr.

Their job is to make sure Butch can't do it.

It's the real world boys and girls. Life is tough.

Frankly, if Butch lets another diva destroy the team this yr, I'll join the parade to run him out of town.

Nawww. We have to baselessly micro focus on it first and turn it into a massive conspiracy.

Before long I'm waiting to see Butch colluded with the Gators to infiltrate the Tennessee program and run it into the ground.

I see what you did there. Trump vs. Russia. Maybe we should hire a special prosecutor to get to the bottom of this! (blue font)

So, everyone winding up for another "Butch can't coach" diatribe,

as well as everyone winding up for a "bye Felicia" to Jack Jones,

just cool your jets. We are like Jon Snow. We know nothing.

There's no telling what the truth is, but I can live with not knowing. I'm sure they'll work it out one way or another. Go Vols!

So done with bad attitudes. Just... so done. Bad attitudes are holding us back in life. Bad attitudes have made a mess out of everything. Bad attitudes have driven me to the point of insanity and I'm not dealing with it anymore. Right now, this minute. I am not dealing with a single person with a bad attitude ever again. It spreads like a virus.

To leap to what may be wildly false conclusions and then insult either (a) our coach or (b) one of our players because of those assumptions we made?

I may be silly, but I thought we were here to talk Tennessee football. You know, rather than Tennessee soap opera.

But Jack Jones quit the team over this past weekend. He was not at practice on Sunday but after a long talk with Butch, he decided to come back. Apparently he is upset over some promises that were given but have not come to fruition. Glad he is staying for the future of the O-Line. Again, not something to worry about but may want to keep an eye out moving forward.

I don't drama at all. I do point out when people are drama'ing.

Never said you insulted anyone. But this thread has plenty of folks winding up to insult either coach or player. And that's what the "this" in your first response is.

So take off the thin skin, put on a thicker skin, and re-read my response. It ain't about you, it's about the thread. You were just the guy who cryptically defended the mouth breathers who came before.
