This a very simple answer, but you can delve deeper if you want to look it up:

The Resurrection happened after the Jewish Passover and early church leaders wanted to honor the Resurrection (Easter) by keeping it after the Passover. Jewish calendars are kept by lunar cycles, where as Christian and other calendars use our modern solar cycles instead. To keep with the observance of Passover, Easter is always changing. It is typically the Sunday after the first full moon of the spring equinox, but there are some exceptions where it can vary (of which I don't really have enough knowledge on to be passing on to others)
