Issue is fixed. Apparantly i'm a moron. I didn't have gaming mode selected for that specific hdmi input after all.

LOL because it's not. It's a top 5 LCD. Sony doesn't even register in the Plasma rankings, which is where the big dogs roll.

I'm assuming you're basing that statement off of THIS year, where Sony has an overpriced LED TV that is ranked #2 among LEDs on CNET.

Typically, Sony doesn't even crack the top 5, with Samsung and Panasonic taking 4 of the top 5 on a yearly basis.

Don't get me wrong, good TVs, but not top-tier. And if you didn't pay for the ridiculously expensive 929, then this debate is worthless, because the rest of the product line doesn't hold a candle to a great TV.

No - the past two times I've bought a Sony Bravia 2 years ago and idk remember the time before that its been rated the top.

I'm not sure I follow you, I think you stated it wrong. Plasma makes more sense financially for anything above modest size, like 42".

If you're into small TVs, then LCD is great.... since they don't make small plasmas.

Panasonics are extremely overrated. Samsung's really are the only competition. LG's make finer tvs than Panasonics.. they just have the name recognition here.

It was a joke - because they don't make 80" plasma yet I don't believe.. just DLP and LED.

I would hate to guess what an 80" LED TV would cost. I would have to guess in the $10,000 range.

Just Googled.... $5000, that's actually not that bad. I'm impressed. And it's Sharp, which is a great brand.

Thrasher don't argue with Bruno. He knows everything. Like 360 players own PS3 players in video games simply bc we have PS3s and not 360s :crazy:
