So what was the torture device - I presume heating up the bucket made the rat claw into the person as a means of escape?
I'm speaking more to the fact that I know who will live, who will die, who will side with whom, etc. Big picture stuff. I think I'm more interested in reading the next two books than I am in the show at this point. Still like the show but it's different when you remove the suspense.I don't remember the scene w Joffrey and the whores in the book but it's been months since I read it.
That scene was not in the books.
I'm just not seeing the trees for the forest at this point.I'm reading the second book as the second season goes along and there are many discrepancies. May have been the same with season 1 but I didn't notice as much since I read the book afterwards.
It's confusing - I'm reading and thinking that's not what happens and I'm watching and thinking that's not what happens.
