Fair enough. Maybe it will be addressed. It just feels like as the show progresses further from the book storylines, it's not being written as well.
I haven't read the books but sometimes the show telegraphs it's moves. I mean, did anyone have to see a spoiler to guess who was winding up on the business end of Arya's dagger?
Nah..I just want to know. It doesn't spoil seeing it. Suspense actually bothers my nerves. I knew a lot about Yellowstone before I went and had seen a million pictures, it didn't make it any less breathtaking. If you're different then more power to you...to each his own.
As opposed to the source material, which isn't being written at all...
People give GRRM way too much credit and not enough of the blame. People definitely overlook some weak elements in his work and the fact that he has barely moved the plot forward in 17 years.
Dear Lord we are some gripy sunsabenches..We get an awesome fantasy show, with a interesting world, great production, acting, depth, characters and dialouge, and it gets down to the end and we are picking it to freakin death. It's a great show and I love it.
For those of you whose lives were wrecked over the timeline of the ravens/dragons etc. It actually makes sense.

My biggest issue with the story arc is the total misuse/ignoring of Bran. He can see and know everything, but not a single person is trying to use his knowledge or even talk to him. It makes no sense.
I really didn't have a huge problem with the timeline; I was expecting something terrible based on what I read but honestly it came out ok.
I was more disappointed with Benjen showing up for 3 seconds and how that played out. Uhhh...yeah you had time bro.
I think Benjen was ready to become "fully" dead. He was already undead, separated from all living things, and stuck riding around endlessly in a frozen wasteland. Saving Jon gave him a chance to go out in a blaze of glory. Not getting on the horse with him definitely had some self-sacrifice and even suicide overtones.
Probably because they think he's a d-bag now; his stoic personality now doesn't exactly invite a long sit down conversation.
i look at last week's episode a lot like i looked at episode 3 of the starwars deal. as i watched it i thought it was awesome and thoroughly entertained. as you kind of get a little space from it, there's tons of holes....and you realize that some of the things in it were forced, right or wrong, just to continue the story...with the sole purpose of getting to the end..these things had to happen to get where they wanted it to go in other words.
in the end, i thought the episode was very entertaining, and as opposed to the prequels of starwars, i find myself not caring about the holes in the story, as much as i do about how the sequence of events get you to the next part of the story.
so far, i think this season has been very good, and like many i think if more time were afforded, there could have/should have been a lot more opportunities for increased dialogue between some of these characters, especially the ones that have been separated for a long period of time.
on the other hand, i'm glad we didn't have to sit thru a couple episodes of everyone working thru issues or battle logistical issues before we get to the nitty gritty.
on pure entertainment value, this season has been great. sucks next week is the last episode and we have to wait so long for season 8.
It's a great show and most of the problems I have seen with this season could have easily been fixed by simply making it longer. It should have been 11 episodes.
Does it bother anyone that we haven't seen GW and the Unsullied in so long? It's like they've been forgotten. What the hell are they doing at Casterly Rock?
