HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Well she just moved into a vacant castle.

My issue with Danny's whole story is all the times she's had a plan that would backfire for anyone else but for her it works out perfectly.

I also think she greatly benefits from the cheerleader effect. She's surrounded by a bunch of other interesting things/characters (Dragons, Tyrion, Varys, Missandei) and people associate the interesting stuff to her also.

Deer lord man..the girl was basically a slave in the beginning. Her and Jon both have risen from nothing, and had heartbreaking losses. This is a bad take, but to each his own.

Will have to rewatch it. Crap! The good guys lost their last one against Ramsay! Didn't the Wildlings burn bodies?

Umm...just for example..What time did they have to burn anything at Hardhome? How many do you think were lost before anybody even figured out what was going on to start with?

I don't know why so many on the internet seem to be complaining about Ed Sheeran being on the episode. It wasn't like he was given a big part, and other bands/musicians have had cameos; though to be fair the others were more background type characters.

I'm no fan of his but it fit fine to me.

The giant they showed is the same one that died in battle of the bastards I believe, right? The final arrow that killed him shot him in the right eye and when they zoomed in on the white walker giant that eye was center frame I believe and different from the other one. Makes me think it's him.

I thought he did fine. Wasn't like he had a huge part anyways.

Not a reader of the series, but what is known of their background? The Wildlings associated with two. They didn't lose one at Hardhome. Those 3 die of natural causes and get dug up by the WW or did they get killed by them and converted? Are there more still alive?

Wun Wun? Nah, that doesn't make sense logistically. Wun Wun died in the courtyard of Winterfell. The Night King and his army are still north of the wall.

You'd think they'd know to burn his body. And Winterfell hasn't been reached. If Bran was seeing the future, Jon and his crew got nobody else to blame.

meh, maybe some perceive that the show runners went out of their way a little to be like, "hey, look! it's Ed Sheeran!" when compared to other cameos like the members of Mastodon- which was very subtle. Didn't bother me none - I enjoyed that scene.

I understand what is supposed to be likable about her, I was just trying to give my reasoning for why she's my least favorite character on the show. As far as the books I actually enjoy her as much as Tyrion when reading her chapters. I think it's because in the books you get her internal thoughts and it better reflects her growth towards becoming a bada**. In the show that progression felt sudden like a switch had been flipped. I know I'm in the vast minority on this opinion and this is the hill I choose to die on.

I'm inclined to at least partially agree with this. Her character growth in the show has not been as gradual or as strongly fleshed out as all the others

There is actually a good bit of debate about it on Twitter right now. Since it is seen in Brans vision of the future it could very well be him and we just don't know how it could happen yet. If they don't burn the body it could even be that that vision is the walkers marching through the south after winter has come. There are still many possiblities that could lead to that giant being Wun Wun.

Yeah I think that is definitely what the vision is showing. We won't know how for a while but I really think that was Wun Wun.

Hmmm, I suppose that is possible. I guess it all hinged on the timeframe of Bran's vision. We can't know when it was or the location of the army

Best part is that, according to Benioff, this scene was total improv by both actors. They didn't tell him that Tormund should skeez out on Brienne, he just decided that's what the character was going to do. lol

That's great and totally fits Tormound

It was the wrong eye. Wun Wun was shot in the right eye and that giant was missing his left. I imagine it's just about the only way to kill a giant (in single combat) - minus a dragon.

This makes more sense.
