Read the book on a suggestion from a friend. Will never take their suggestion again. Juvenile writing combined with a trite and predictable plotline. Disappointed in HBO for picking this up.

It makes sense. Dany commanded him to find a cure. the Citadel was probably a good move on his part. If a cure will be discovered it will probably happen there.

In the "previously on GOT " scenes before last night's premiere, they showed Shireen Baratheon and she was cured as a child by a combination of maesters and apothecaries. Dany gave him the assignment to go cure himself, that place would be his best hope.

Yeah, pretty close to my feelings about this episode. The best thing about the last 2 or 3 episodes being kick a$$ is that I heard there will only be 7 episodes this season. So, we won't have to wait long
