HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Cersei mentioned the trial by combat and that Gregor would fight for her. That means the faith people have to find someone to fight him. Ian McShane says he plays a religious elder who reintroduces a beloved character. I can only assume that means The Hound since we never saw him die..and you know how he would love to kill The Mountain.

That's what I am thinking too

That's a really interesting theory! Thanks for posting it!

The quote of Quaithe talking to Dany ("To go north, you must go south. To reach the west, you must go east.") also makes it sound like she will have to go to Asshai, which is southeast of Mereen. I'm dying to know more about that place.

Asshay :)

Ah okay. Thanks. That would be pretty sweet.

R + L = J theory question
So if R + L = J is actually correct. Wouldn't Jon still be a bastard since Rhaegar Targaryen was married? Also wouldn't that make Daenerys Jon's aunt? So Ned would be Jon's uncle and the Stark kids would be Jon's cousins?

I'm not sure about the first, but the rest should be correct.

Yes to everything

Its also said that Rhaegar might have had a secret wedding in front of a tree which would legitimize Jon. Targs were OK with multiple wives iirc. Its been awhile since I read the entire theory though

Oh wow I didn't know that. Regardless is he was a bastard or not, he'd still have kings blood wouldn't he? Rhaegar was next in line for the thrown wasn't he since he's the eldest?

I feel bad for Olly actually. Lol. I mean it's hard to blame him for what he did considering the wilding killed and ate his parents. Most kids his age would probably of been swayed to betray Jon. Lol

Also. I just really really kinda want the major fan theory to be wrong after all this time. It would just be halrious to see the freak out from the book readers. But. Said theory is pretty much confirmed honestly.

And still no Little Finger this season.
It's not confirmed until its confirmed. Until author or show comes right out and says it its only a possibility.
I'm stating to think R+L=D
I agree about Olly. Fans would probably be more understanding if it wasn't everyone's favorite character he stabbed

Only 2 Targs in the history of Westeros had multiple wives. Both 150 years before Rhaegar was born. Jon is a bastard.

.

But why does Jon have black hair? Starks have blonde/auburn hair. Targeryans have white hair.

I don't know if you read the books so I'll spoiler tag this if you don't want it.

In the books Robb left a will that was supposedly sent to Howland Reed where if he was to die then he left orders that Jon was to be legitimized and released from his vows to the Nights Watch to become Jon Stark King in the North.

Which takes one quick story to show. Nothing is concrete at this point and there's a lot out there that is possible. Should be fun to follow

I think that's another book-to-show inconsistency. He has pretty dark brown hair in the books, but not black. There has never been a Stark-Targaryen marriage to my knowledge, but I think their children with Baratheons and Martells are usually dark-haired rather than silver.

The black hair is why it wasn't surprising that a bunch of people thought he was Robert's son after all the fuss they made about hair color.

Danaerys??
But wasnt Viserys her twin?

Not seeing how that has an affect on Rhaegar. Its a quick simple story/vision that'll prove one way or another.

The faith of the seven never allowed polygamy. The Targaryens who were polygamists had dragons. No one would recognize Rhaegars second wife. So any child he may have had with Lyanna Stark is a bastard.

Dany was the one who had the dream that people use as evidence for R+L maybe the dream is about her. A youtuber named Preston Jacobs did a video series about the Tower of Joy. Check it out. Have an open mind. And Viserys was 8 years older than Dany.

Don't. That theory adds nothing. Preston Jacobs makes some good points, but he's a bit of a lunatic.

In this case if Tomman dies Jon would be next in line to the Iron Throne.
