HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Sigh.....so I get through 8.5 episodes of Season 1. And today I go to finish Episode 9 and..........the person who's account I was using had their HBO access expire, and I know they aren't going to renew it because apparently they got it for a year as part of their HD upgrade package.

I'm pretty pissed off at the moment.

Ever heard of torrents? (for educational purposes only, of course)

oh god, that blows. right when things start to REALLY escalate too.

lucky for you, i know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a girl, who's husband's father's brother-in-law, who heard from his old college roommate Roberto, who knows a guy, who got access of his boss's personal HBO account.

just PM for the hookupz.

No more book spoilers available..going to be an interesting few more seasons!

But still a whole lot of good book stuff to tie in possibly. The only example I can think of for something like this is an anime, but my hope is this doesn't go the way of Full Metal Alchemist and end up being so drastically different from the source material that they have to essentially tag it as "Not based on the books anymore."

Though I would 100% be ok with them having to do an extra season or two once the show has "officially" ended if the books end up being that much different that they deserve to be reenacted.

This is of course presuming Martin doesn't die soon, which is very likely.

Martin has told them how it ends. So it doesnt matter if he dies or not (hoping not) because they know how the story arcs should end.

This season is the first time that MOST of the arcs wont be ruined by those pesky book readers.

Im hoping the Hound is alive to battle his bro, Snow lives and becomes a bad ass, and whatever else .

Same here, it seems unlikely for them to not fully flesh out the death of a major character like the Hound. This gives me the inclination that he's still alive somehow (similar to what happened recently to a character on TWD)

I binged watched up until the Red Wedding roughly in about 5 days. I think it makes it a lot easier to remember characters/little details than watching once a week.

Whenever I binge watch a mammoth like GoT I like to read reliable reviews as well. They help me get the plot straight and offer a different perspective.

(he doesn't know what the Red Wedding is)

Actually I already know about that, I had that spoiled not long after it happened, because at the time I hadn't watched and then I wasn't planning on watching.

The only thing I don't remember is when it actually happens but I'm sure I'll figure out when it's about to happen.

I'm through Season 3 Episode 1.

And I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything, but watching this is going to make watching The Walking Dead even harder now, because the acting and writing in this show is about a million times better.

Why do you think I keep asking when Game of Thrones will be back on in the Walking Dead thread? TWD is such $hit now; it's sad.

Rewatched Tyrion's "drop-the-mic" speech from last season last night - I miss this show =(
