HBO's "Game of Thrones"

We're all forgetting how awesome that kill scene was where Reek tossed Ramsay's GF off the walkway - she stuck the landing

They did a great job with the Battle. I loved how, just like last season's battle with Stannis, they showed how large-scale maneuvers work and how beautiful they look when pulled off by trained soldiers. I hate when all a battle is is scenes of soldiers fighting close-quarters. It takes away from the beauty of true strategical planning being set forth.

Agreed on the cinematography. That was a beautiful shot. I wish they had let the battle play out longer though.

Agreed that Jon will be back. Obviously he's going to say he's not in an interview.

They set up the Benjen thing well...even recapped his story during the previously seen montage.

One thing I haven't seen anyone else mention. Myrcella kissed Jaime on the lips right before she died. IMO there's a chance something could come off that.

It would be so GOT to give us every bit of evidence indicating Jon will come back ... only to leave him off.

I'm starting to get annoyed by all the death, though. I understand some death in a show, but every good character's death almost seems inevitable, excluding a couple.

I am so sick of seeing Ramsay do incredibly stupid things with no consequences.

I hope the plot in the North next season will be the restoration of the Starks through Rickon.

It's getting really frustrating. I'll be so pissed off if they don't bring Jon back.

It would be terrible writing to have Jon killed off that way. I think the show foreshadowed Mel resurrecting Jon when she visited the Brotherhood without Banners, but it's anyone's guess.

If he's permanently dead then the biggest mystery of the series is irrelevant.

The plot in the North seemed so rushed. Nobody ever mentions the other Northern houses. Or the Freys or what's going on in the Riverlands.

it hasn't been mentioned because it didn't happen. they hugged, but there was no kiss on the lips between them. Jaime is fine and dandy.

well, besides the broken heart of losing his daughter that is.

Yeah, they had to make drastic changes to combine some of the plots (Dorne and the North) and the results were just... meh. But at the same time I realize Jaime and Brienne wandering the Riverlands doesn't translate well to TV.

The lack of Freys and the other northern houses was particularly noticeable, though. Isn't that the reason Roose married Fat Walda in the first place? The best part of this plot in the books is that you have no idea whose side a particular house may be on - it really contributed to the intrigue and uncertainty surrounding the conflict.

That quick cut of Brienne and Stannis was just as much BS as Martin ending his book before the climax. If she kills him, then for God's sake, show his head rolling off.

Interesting. For some reason I was sure she kissed him.

Agreed. There was no value to Jon Snow if this is his end. I can't see an ending that wouldn't be disappointing with Snow being dead for good.

Also, why rush Mel back to castle black (like it is in the books), kill off Stannis, just to kill off Snow. There is no candidate for the ressurection of Ahai

If you're talking about who the champion is for Azor Ahai, then you would be correct.

I have to agree with those that are saying that this cannot be the end of Jon Snow. Mel took such a great interest in him throughout the season. She knew good and well what she was getting herself into when she fled to Castle Black.

So was book four though. This season was a combo of that and five. Makes sense Lol

Feast was terrible? I thought it was a good book. You can't just have action there has to be set up. Prior to feast we had never seen Dorne or the Iron Islands at all.

That's why I can't believe he's dead. The most interesting mystery of the entire series wasn't revealed before his death? No way.

The fact that the show has established resurrection as a possibility already (Beric/Thoros) but only at the hands of a red priest/priestess...one of which just so happens to be in the same area as Jon Snow....yeah. He's coming back.

I almost think it's too obvious, which means they won't do it.
