Do you remember a season ago when the Hound was fighting for his life with that group that captured Arya & friends? The Hound killed him and then he was brought back to life using some kind of magic. Ever since that time I have been thinking of characters that have been killed on the show. Ned is out because his head is completely gone, but I think it is entirely possible, especially with the way the show has introduced more and more magic to the series, that we see one of the main characters come back from the dead. Now which woman/man that has been killed do you think Martin would most like to bring back for vengeance? I'm guessing a Stark, but I don't know which one: Rob or Catherine.

This is just something I've been thinking about because I rewatched season 3 over Memorial Day. Martin does not include that type of stuff and then never use it. He especially likes to wait long enough so that you have completely forgot about it and then BOOM he brings it out. Just some thoughts.

Well looks like I was off base with my thoughts...AGAIN. Unlike so many TV shows, it's hard for me to even kinda predict what is gonna happen in GoT.

Good point, but at the same time there are no other women in this universe kicking ass with brute force.

True but look at the end of this season - Cersei likely in complete control, Brienne triumphant over the Hound, Arya in control of her own destiny and Daenyrs (sp?) ruling several cities.

The ladies are doing well as of now.

I am really excited for the interaction of John Snow and Stannis. With Tywin gone they could arguably be the two most serious characters left in the show. Stannis' hard resolve and John's stubbornness made for some of the best dialogue in the books. A lot of people find Stannis dry but I think he is hilarious without even trying to be funny.

Really? Brienne is a bonafied hard ass. She bested 114 other knights at Renly's tournament, including Loras (who by the way, dehorsed Jaime Lannister at the Kings tourney) She made mince meat of several Bolton men in the blink of an eye. She holds her own against a half ton bear for several minutes, and in the books kills scores of other men easily. (not to mention, single handedly sinks a ship) She is more than an accomplished fighter and not surprising in the least to see her get the better of that encounter.

Although he did own Jamie with that great line after Jamie told him he'll never marry Cersei.

Tommen is still king. I don't know if it is mentioned in the show but in the books Cersei has been ruling essentially as Queen Regent since Robert's death. She has been held in check though by Tyrion in season 2 and Tywin ever since.

My two cents...not sure how accurate: The bells were similar when Robert Baratheon died. So, I am assuming he knew that someone had died. Maybe the king's hand has a special alert in the books???

With Tywin and Tyreion no longer in control, he decided it is a better strategy to unhitch from the Lannister bandwagon.

I am assuming Varys, Tyrion, Arya, and Mermont are all heading to Braavos.
