Haynesworth

Just read an article about AH on Yahoo. Why does he have such a problem playing nose guard??

Take a look around at the prototypical nose guards in 3-4 defenses and you'll notice that big athletic guys like Haynesworth are better suited to 4-3 defenses. Usually a nose guard is going to be a big guy with a rather squat build, their only job is to tie up two blockers every play.

I don't blame Haynesworth for being unhappy in a 3-4, where I do blame him is he's the one that sought out greener pasture (more money) instead of sticking in an offense where he was more comfortable and taking less pay (still way more than he'd ever need). He was a diva while he was here and now he's an unhappy diva. He took the money, he should do the job and shut up IMO.

Did Haynesworth ever give Dan Brooks and Fulmer any problems.

I remember when AH got into a fight on the practice field and was sent to the locker room. He went to the locker room and got the team "Spirit Stick" and headed back out to finish the fight. Of course he was stopped before he made it back but it just shows his mentality.

47yo Mike Golic just passed the same conditioning test (on NFL Live) that Haynesworth has failed 3 times.....despite the fact that he doesn't have a fat NFL contract or didn't prepare for it.

It was a good thing too that Golic's not, say, 65 pounds lighter than Haynesworth.

Guys, you're forgetting the crux of the matter in this situation. According to his royal "Majesty," it is beneath Albert's dignity to contend with the double team blocking schemes he will routinely face as a nose tackle.

This is an amazing post and made me literally laugh out loud
:good!:

And he's been removed from the league for 16 years i think
