Just seems like a microcosm of the whole problem doesn't it?

It's disgraceful to me that a program like ours has this kind of problem with the kicking game. There are probably a ton of FCS kickers that would do a better job.

So who do we roll the dice on this week? Palardy or Brodus? What are the odds for missing an XP? This assumes we score a TD first of course.

UT lost to UNC in the Music City Bow because D.Lincoln missed an extra point. I think it's a curse. even FCS schools have competent kickers.

Palardy, with all his problems, should be the starting PK. DB's kicks look wretched...and they still don't go through.

and yet we are a couple months away from letting bama steal one of the best kickers in the nation right from our backyard... Jonathan King ~20 min down the road and were about to let him slip right through

Dooley was a special teams coach for Saban and can't get a kicker that can make a PAT. Sorry folks, hold on all you want, but this is not our guy! I don't have an answer and I really like a lot of things he has said and done, but being The Head Coach at The University of Tennessee he is not.

It is just plain sad that we are having this conversation.... REALLY?! I truly cannot believe a program like ours in the SEC can't get a descent kicker for goodness sake. One of the many cracks in the dam that are gonna create a flood.

Palardy was THE best kicker in the nation. But I'm sure Bama could recruit a 1 star kicker with 1 leg and he'd still be the best kicker in the nation. **** Bama.

Before we bash Dooley about THIS topic remember he got us another kicker and he broke his leg - part of the curse we seem to have on us.

In all fairness, it is a tough kick to make. Most people see little leaguers make 3 or 4 of them every weekend.. SMH

IT'S AN EXTRA POINT!!!

Every kicker on the damn roster should have the ability to consistently kick an extra point. It's the most basic thing a kicker is required to do at any level of football! If you cannot conisistently hit an extra point, you don't deserve to wear a uniform!

It's like we keep getting stuck with bums that the only two things they're good FOR, they're not any good AT!

MTSU had better kicking last year.

GA St had better kicking this year.

UF was in another galaxy altogether.

if george cafego was still here, palardy would be NFL bound.

starts at the top.
