It's as if Divine Intervention was trying it's best for us to win the game but Martin still figures out how to lose a close game. If I was Barton, I am giving Martin the silent treatment for a while. Poor guy has been in the slumps for the second half of the season and he finally nails a game winning 3 that he would have remembered forever if it were not for one incredibly unorganized and dysfunctional coach.

Congrats for being clueless...A timeout is the right thing to do in that scenario. Maybe Martin should give Barton the silent treatment for going mia for several games.

It wasn't a bad TO call. Barton hadn't made a shot all game. We were trapped and anything we threw up was going to be awfully low percentage.

Really? Maybe he called the timeout because the guy with the ball, along with the starting pg and the rest of the bench went 0 for damn 11 from the field and only 2 made free throws from those four. Percentages called for a timeout. And don't act like you wouldn't be on here complaining that Martin didn't call one if Barton missed it.

The problem was we got the ball in the half court with about 15 seconds, that's when you call the timeout. You can't do anything with 2 seconds. Stokes bailed him out. It was terrible late game management once again.

You don't call a timeout with 2.4 seconds left. The smart thing to have done was call it with at least 10 seconds when they had the chance. If Barton missed, I would have been mad that he didn't call a time out. You either let them play or call a timeout, you don't waste almost every second and THEN decide to call a timeout. He is completely unorganized. He has no gameplan. Honestly I didn't even want him to call a timeout because 90% of the time his lack of X and Os is exposed the following play. This time out symbolized all the idiotic time outs he has made all year.

You are right. You do not call a to with less than 3 seconds. CCM was bailed out by Richardson and Stokes. I do not believe Stokes was option one. It worked but was very lucky.

That play to tie it and win if Stokes makes the free throw was genius, but you ignore that. Also, his plays may have been attempted before that, didn't work, and so he called timeout. **** happens. Point is, of all things to complain about, you chose that? Pathetic analysis on your part.

You do realize Martin is not the answer at UT. And not just the fans see this.

Think about this: if Barton was 1 of 5 (last shot doesn't count as an attempt), and Thompson (the STARTING point guard) goes 1 of 3, it's a W. Martin can't hit those shots or layups for those guys.
