Do you mean 2002? That is when my friend and I almost got jumped.
I don't think we played there in '01 because I know we played at Florida that year. I was at that game too, and actually the Florida fans were super nice. I had TWO sets of UF fans buy me a drink to congratulate me...as if I had anything to do with the Tennessee victory.

I've always thought that the Georgia fans are way worse than the Florida fans. The majority of the Florida fans I've encountered have been pretty cool and have bought me drinks too, although I've seen a few that aren't as cool.

i was a student in 2000 when we played florida at home. you guys know what i am talking about... the "touchdown catch". After that touchdown the student section went nuts and there were a buncha florida fans sitting next to the student section. All i can remember is students and florida fans alike throwing whatever they could get their hands on at each other. As we walked out of the stadium florida fans and tenn fans alike spitting on each other pouring coke on each other. It was a mess. I have never been apart of something like that before. It was an intresting site to see

I remember some of UT fans in the skyboxes were so ticked off at that terrible call that they were throwing stuff out of the boxes on top of the florida fans!!!

Lol, funny joke sometime.Ask someone who is putting "racists" vibes out how many black friends they have. If they give you a # for an answer, you've got yourself a racist. Or at least someone with some definate prejudice.

I was sexually violated by two incredibly hot Florida cheerleaders once. Also, my dad could beat up your dad.

Three Times:
1st time: UGA @ UT 2001 when we lost at the last second; leaving Neyland a UGA fan was drunk and running his mouth calling us rednecks etc. Someone tripped him and he was on the ground and people were walking by...I looked at him and he started calling me a hillbillies mother ^$%*$%, told me to go do my sister, etc. he said so much crap that I kicked him.

2nd time: MTSU @ UT 2002 I believe; Season opener, a feel good game, I had just gotten a brand new jersey that day and some jack @ss freshman that could not hold down his liquor threw up on me on his way to the bathroom. I walked over there and saw the guy yelling in the bathroom, cursing at people, shoved him against the wall and then he laid with his hair in the urinol (spelling).

3rd time: UT @ Miami 2003; At the Orange Bowl, the game atmosphere was sick. When it was 4th down, Enter Sandman came blasting and when they would stop us or we were on Offense they would play Bone Crusher's Never Scared; after Foolmore that the gutsiest play of his career and we scored the TD at the end of the 1st half, Vol fans started running their mouths because we put up with the Canes fans all 1st half. When the Bone Crusher song came on everytime he sang "I ain't neva scared" me and some other guys would turn around and point to the U fans and yell "OF YOU!"...as the game unfolded we just had a blast and broke their 17 years undefeated streak at home. We stayed until the stadium was empty and I went to take a leak and I was singing Rocky Top and two guys came from behind and hit my head against the wall...I fell and they kicked me until two Vol fans came over to help me out and ran them out. I laughed and went to South Beach get a drink with a horrible headache.

Oh and in 2004 after Wilhoit's kick won us the game, my roommate and I were leaving and doing the motions of the gator Chump and asking them why in the world they were not doing it...no age discriminaton there.
Then a group of like 7 gator fans started pushing us and telling us we would get what we had coming and then a crowd of Orange showed up and those guys turned into wittle girls really quick...it was funny.

FANS from either side, talking **** and fighting about what a bunch of 18 to 23 year old boys (who wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire) either have done...will do...or are doing on the frigging football field, are just plain morons.

"Duuurrrr....Look at me! The team that I follow is outscoring the team that you follow! That, somehow, makes me superior to you right now. Now I'm gonna get in your face and scream obscenities, sing corny fight songs and/or mimic your team's customs so as to make myself feel like an important part of the team...of which I am not. Never mind the fact that I either never attended UT Knoxville...if any post-secondary institution, at all."

Countdown to some jackass calling me out for "not being a true football fan", "not being a true UT fan" or "just not understanding" begins NOW.

Came close to one at the 2001 UT/UF game in gainesville...Was halftime and We were standing in line to use the bathroom when some smart mouthed UF chick with her geeky 125 pound boyfriend came up and started running her mouth at some of us UT fans in line...Terrible mouth on that girl...So she decided to get in my face and she threatened to spit on me and I told her point blank...You spit on me and I am not going to hit you....I am going to hit HIM...Repeatly...To which he turned solid white and tried pushing her away...Even the gator fans were telling her to go away and shut up...I had 2 gator fans come up and apologize for her behavior in which I replied, No problem you can't apologize for other peoples behavior...Besides, I'm used to it when I visit here.

I almost did. It's rare for me to go to any UT game unfortunately. Combo crzy wife and busy schedule. There was one we made it to though I think it was back in 07 when LSU and the fowles show came to UTK. Me and my wife had nose bleed seats and we were smack dab in the middle of the LSU fans. Sylvia Fowles went up for a rebound and she got thrown the the ground and hit her head very hard on the court. The thud resonated throughout the building and a hush went over the crowd. Being the bad sport I am, and since not attending many games and thinking i'm in my livingroom I stood up and yelled OH YES!!! I know it was horrible, I KNOW! As my wife pulled me down to my seat i peaked around me to see about 100 black people garbed in purple and gold giving me a death look and shouting profanities.......We stayed and watched the Lady Vols lose :( and didn't make another peep the whole game. LMAO DOH moment!:eek:hmy:

Dude don't be afraid to describe who was looking at you. You were telling a story with a good description of what happend. It dosent matter if they were white Russians or muslims!!! I swear some people are so sensitive when the color of skin is mentioned in a description.

It is very sad that we haven't won since. I have two daughters and a wife that I didn't have then. I have also moved three times.

UT @ UCLA, ushering in the Clawfense...I go to a lot of UCLA games at the Rose Bowl-a few a year. But I was proud as punch to be able to go unapologetically wearing Big Orange.

First quarter of the game, a young guy was holding his girlfriend up in the seats behind me. And then I smelt something-she was throwing up into a bag. Not a little, but a lot.

Guy decides they need to get out of there, but he leaves the sick bag behind. I confront him and tell him to take the stinky bag with him. He hesitates. I tell him if he doesn't he's gonna get a puke enema.

He took the bag and left. And that was about the only highlight of the game for me, except for when I squatted down and ripped a huge fart right by the woman who sat in front of me's head. She threatened to have us thrown out for cheering for the Vols. So in return, as we were leaving, I gave her a hot dog, nacho and Jack crop dusting.

Last year, I got mad when someone poured a jack and coke down my back at the UT-GA game. But, I relaxed when he offered to supply me with J&C the rest of the game, which made the blowout even better!!!

Never been in a fight at a game. I do agree in my experience that traveling to Athens can be a little more hostile than Gainesville.

I yelled down on the field from the upper deck that Rod Wilks was overrated. He heard me and jumped up there on three bounds and I threw him off the top of the stadium over the new jumbotron.
