Have any incoming Asst. coaches been named?

Probably right. Again, rumors, so who knows. I do know that supposedly Burns was pretty instrumental in recruiting big players at Auburn. So he may be a good one to keep.
Heupel obviously felt he could teach his offense to the WR’s so that’s something else for Tee to surmount in his “meeting”.

According to reports, these are supposed to be following him from UCF. Not sure if their roles will be the same here. And they have not officially been announced. Osovet, Steele, and Tee are possible carry overs. Again, nothing official yet.

Glenn Elarbee OL
Alex Golesh TE
Kodi Burns WR
Joey Haxlze QB
Matt Merritt RB.
Shouldn’t these guys be on the phones “cruitin” with NSD a few days away?

How do you know that they aren’t? Seems to me that this new AD and (more than likely) HC pretty quiet on what is happening. They’ll let the public know what they want us to know.

I see so many people on hear, saying that the game had passed Fulmer by. That’s BS in my opinion. The problem started November 3rd , 2008 , when they fired Fulmer. Have not done anything since. I honestly think Fulmer could get this straightened out at 70 years old. If they don’t fire him , I think the last 12 years look a lot different. JMO, of course!!

IMO you’re wrong, Fulmer was fired way too late as a coach, should have never been hired as AD! JMO

Look Fulmer was a terrible AD but he is the reason we have such high expectations for our program. I know some of you younger people don’t realize this but he was 152-52. Would you take this record with a coach now. He was a disaster as an AD , but cut him some slack, if not for him we would not be one of the most winningnest programs in the SEC.

152-52 , 2 SEC Championships , a National Championship. Averaged going to Atlanta every 3 years. Had the number 5th ranked team in recruiting the day he was fired. Worst mistake in UT History!!
Your opinion as wrong as it is. Probably too young to remember all the upsets or so old dementia is clouding your memory. Or you're Fulmer disguised. He is part of the problem like to admit it or not.

Imo you’re wrong. He knows what it takes. The players and coaches that were coming here shows that.
I see people talking about “cheating”. To be at the top of anything you have to be on the edge and beyond.

I would like to see Chavis back at UT in some capacity. He could add much knowledge and SEC wisdom for the defensive staff. Not sure about DC for Chief but if Cutcliffe also retires from Duke - he would be a great staff addition as analyst or some role for sure.

Thoughts on possibly VFL Jerod Mayo as Defensive Coordinator? Currently New England Patriots LB coach. He recently interviewed for the HC position for the Eagles vacancy. I know it's somewhat of a stretch, but he's definitely an up & comer amongst the coaching ranks. Maybe going from LB coach to HC was too much of a leap, but LB coach to DC would make more sense? What better place for that than your alma mater.

Apparently Chavis is being interviewed for DC job. Hell yes.
🤣 I knew you would get a lot of flack. But our best defenses under this man! Why? Recruited well! A lit of people would have said the game has passed Mac Brown by. I can tell you this I'm not who I was 13 years ago, perhaps has studied new defensive schemes, can he recruit? Can he coach a young man up?

There's a reason Fulmer was fired. Example 1
