Good game young man, career high 5 receptions for 75 yards. Made some nice catches tonight. He will be a special player for the Vols for the next few years.

It hurts win we lose a game but very rewarding watching this young team grow. Give them time and its going to be fun again. Agree Malone look good.

GO VOLS!

GO VOLS!

You summed it up for me. The pieces will come together, but I'm not sure it happens as soon as we'd like with this offensive philosophy

Glad he stepped up. North can't do anything because that's the only player teams focus on since Pearson is a screen threat and Josh smith is out. Glad Malone stepped up some. Improvement!

Made some nice grabs in traffic, broke a tackle or two, was our best wr last night for sure. Where is Marquez North?

Good to see something positive this morning. It's also very good to see Malone not being trashed on VN.

He played well, competed, looked like an SEC football player. If the rest of the team had followed suit, you'd see very few or no negative posts this morning.

North appears to be experiencing the sophomore slump. Last year he would have caught that long pass. I thought he was a 3 and done type before the season started but it appears we'll have his services for 4 years.

So I guess no one saw Malone completely quit on the route that Worley threw in his direction that was picked off? He didn't even try to tackle the guy and just walked immediately to the sideline while the play was still going on....have a bad feeling he is gonna continue to get frustrated and transfer...I PRAY he doesn't but can't help be a negavol after all we've gone through the last few years. GBO

I'd have to see the replay. Don't remember it transpiring quite that way. Leaping to conclusions aren't you?

It did happen that way, though I agree he is jumping to conclusions.

Fact is, Malone quit on the play amd Worley still threw it to him for some reason. He should have just thrown it out of bounds. Malone has looked very lackadaisical at times this year, but he stepped up and made some tough catches Saturday night. He was very tough going across the middle. He just needs to show up every play and not give up on routes consistently. Growing pains for him, but the talent is definitely there.
