For rallying his team at the beginning of the 4th quarter. I haven't seen the Vols pull together and do something like that in awhile.

We need more guys to step up like Eric if we are going to get through this season.

I would like to see EB step up his game some more. he is the best player on the team, but not the same EB of years before.

i saw eric in the middle of that circle trying to hype up the guys, but in the same i saw crompton was no where to be found, it speaks volumes as to what a unit can do when your guy leading your unit cannot even convince the team in the huddle he can lead the guys down the field when it counts and show leadership

EB was the best player on the field and played like it. I expect him to be the best player on the field no matter who we play. He's that good.

2 games into the season and what is the longest pass play by our opponents? he will not have the int's he had in years past. they will not throw until desperation time.

When the team got in a big huddle on the sidelines and started jumping around I deff got goose bumps.

He's not playing the same role as last year. Not only will they not throw to him, he has been up on the line stopping runs and hitting quarterbacks.

He had 7 solo tackles and 3 assists this game. 1 for loss.

In the first game, he had 1 tackle and 2 assists, with one breakup, in a game where they rarely made it past the line of scrimmage.

If he doesn't have a chance to make plays, how is he going to make plays? We haven't played a team yet that has been willing to throw the ball past 5 yards.

This happened last week as well. It wasn't an Eric Berry thing, it is a Lane Kiffin thing. Sure he deserves credit as a good player, but this wasn't his doing.

Crompton was in the huddle. His head was down and he was not even listening to EB when the whole team started to jump up and down he just stood there in the middle of it and nothing came from him.

Dumb. We're 2 games into the season and teams are playing away from him. The 1 time a pass was thrown near him in the WKU game it was almost a pick 6.
