I miss Chavis, Cutt and Flubbo. Those three together were good. Without the three together they are fail.

Don't miss any of them. Chavis was a good LB coach that didn't recruit at the end of his tenure at UT. Cut is a good QB coach but an awful play caller but wouldn't recruit. Fulmer is a good offensive line coach that was a great recruiter to help Chavis and Cut but then he sucked it up at the end of his tenure at UT in that category as well.

Those three were really good back in the '90's against the likes of ... Goff, Hallman, DiNardo, Donnan, Scott, Ford, Woodenhoffer and Mumme.

Face it, they were very good against average or lesser quality coaches. When they were up against someone with equal or greater coaching skills, Tennessee was usually on the losing end and sometimes a beat down.

I think as a group, they won about 83% of their games

Yeah, against lesser talent, they tore it up. Funny, once equal or better coaches, and players, showed up, they became...well...average.

Actually, less than.

Go ahead, v_i_i....say it. Say the only thing you can say to defend the facts:

"Farfle, Farfle, pipik..."

Anyone under 40 probably won't get it.

Go Vols.

Together they were good, or should I say that without Cutt and Chavy Fulmer sucked? either can be said and be true.

They were good back in the day. That's about it.

hahaha, "back in the day"???? When exactly were they bad together? The last time the 3 were together was in 2007 when we won 10 games and played in the SECC game. The year before that we were 9-3 (two of those losses coming with Crompdaddy as our starting QB).... Your comment makes zero sense, as it implies that they were not good later on in their careers together, when the records clearly indicate otherwise... I will give you that they may have floundered independently, but together they were pretty damn good

Exactly....back in the day. You've got to be able to change with the times and they did not do that. As a result we were simply left behind and it will take another 4-6 years to get back to decent team.

Sanders had his moments. Nat'l championship game, 2001 season (play calling was good in the SECC game that year against LSU. Not his fault that Stalworth couldn't hold on to a football), and the 2004 season might have been the best coaching job done at UT in a long time.
