the high tops the linemen wore looked like basketball shoes - white may look good on Joe Namath, but I didnt like them maybe more orange on them or on the socks but black looks better

Good idea though cause I know many older fans who loved the black jerseys(not just a young thing) also my grandfather who is a die hard fan prefered the classic look of the black shoe...Still the Vols I love, no matter what they wear!

White cleats were first reintroduced in 2002 with Cedric Houston constantly tripping over blades of grass after immediately crossing the line of scrimmage with no defender within 5 yds.

Although, it may have been the shoes.

Go back to black. These orange and white cleats have to go.
