People can bash Clay Travis all they want and he did act idiotic for taking credit for the Schiano deal, but the guy tells it like it is. He wanted Butch fired last year after the South Carolina game. He has showed support for us getting guys like Kiffin, Tee, Sumlin, Patterson, Petersen, Gundy and Fisher. I believe Travis wants Tennessee to succeed. Flame away.

One of the best things I’ve read since this debacle started. Wish he could leave out the needless vulgarity, but the essence of his argument is solid.

The quality #Tennessee fans are in the majority...clip sounds as if I was painting with a broad brush...apologies if that was the case as it was not the intention...was referring to the emotional hypocrites in the mob...they have severely damaged the Tennessee brand

"Finally"? A lot of us have been trying to make that point for weeks. It falls on deaf ears that just want a coach ... any coach. Haslam/Currie have desensitized the public into accepting mediocrity.

Get Haslam/Currie out of the way and great things will happen.

You attacked anyone who even slightly criticized Butch...right up until the end...using your own reasoning, you don't want Tennessee to succeed.

It's time for you and the rest of your Butch apologists to eat crow. Had we canned him in 2016, we wouldn't be in this mess.

He's one of the most skilled communicators in the biz.
When he mentions how rich he is, I was taken aback at first, but it's clearly shtick. He mentions it every single podcast and I have to giggle now

Not going to disagree....I was a Butch fan, this crow would taste better with gravy. Anyway, Clay made a strong argument and I agree with his comments.

He also constantly calls his colleagues out. Calls them water carriers, ball washers, and t**nt dryers. I swear, his video, post-South Carolina, was one of the funniest videos I’ve ever seen.

I catch him every morning on my work commute and he made a interesting comment this morning. Of Lane Kiffin, you take away the Raiders and Tennessee from his resume and then take a look at him and he’s truthfully the most talented dynamic hottest coach in the market. Hmmm

No worries over here.

Peyton opened the door for Butch and gave him public support when we all knew the season was long gone after the SC game.
