"Come on, the HoH ain't that bad and we need they money."
If former employees and associates ever provided all the dirt about the dealings at UT, would probably make this story seem like child's play.
Kinda pisses me of that there is that click here that rushes to their defense. And calls everyone conspiracy theorist for believing (knowing) how big of control freaks they are.
Mix that with just being flat out bad at fb decisions and it's such an unnecessary burden.

Mods: any chance of a thread title change?
Knew someone would have posted the link but took forever to find. Should be a must read. 😎

Missed managed the Browns for years. Almost single handedly destroyed VOLS Football. Upped all their prices on Gas and diesel fuels and every item in their stores to pay for Big Jims FInes....I don't have to read the article.

I just read it and agree. He is in over his head but thinks he knows what he is doing. Can’t help himself - he can’t just write a check, hire proven people, and let them do their jobs. He has to meddle and mess it all up, then fire everyone and start the process all over again.

I just hope that the time he has to spend destroying his nfl franchise keeps him occupied.

I get what your saying, but I believe fuel pricing is a lot more involved than just the Haslems. Haslem money and influence isn’t a drop in the bucket for oil men.

If UT could get their financial help to equip UT with the tools to compete without running coaches and AD's would be awesome. Never happen, but I can dream.

Did Bill move back to Knoxville after his governorship ended or did he move back to Ohio to be near Jimmy? If he runs for Senate my guess is he stays in Knox area....

I don't want to underestimate a cluster f___ but with that amount of ineptness did Jimmy have enough time left in the day to screw the pooch in Knoxville? Asking for a friend...

Missed this last night.

They only do that when they're drunk. When they sober up and see what they said, they disappear for a week or so. Lulz.

IMO they're better than them damn VolGators, something has to be done about them.

.@camjordan94 shared the most Browns story ever with us: after already being drafted in 1st round by Saints, the Browns called Jordan on day 2 of the draft to tell him they were selecting him

Bargain bin hiring don't work in the NFL either.....

Chudzinski - Cheap/No HC experience pre or post Cleveland
Pettine - Cheap/No HC experience pre or post Cleveland
Jackson - Cheap/Fired after 1 year with Raiders/World knew he was awful coach
Kitchens - Cheap/No HC experience
Being unable to attract top coaches because of administrative incompetence is different from bargain bin hiring. What UT and the Browns have been forced into over the years is the former. Plus, Cleveland was a dumpster fire way before Haslam bought them.

To answer the question in the title of the thread...No. Big Jim and Jimmy are not alike.
