My first post. Born and raised in Johnson City and consider my blood orange.
Had to leave when I was 16 for parents job and moved to Cleveland. Fortunately I was able to get back down below the line and live in Charleston,SC. I just confirmed reservations to the next Cleveland Browns home game with friends in the Dawg Pound.
Sign suggestions for our Pilot buddies?

I'm glad someone posted this, although I wish the title state "The Haslams are the Cancer of UT". They have influence over two sports entities, the Cleveland Browns and the UT AD. Anyone trust them to make good decisions? Entitled rich, arrogant tools who value their decision making far more than they should and no one in their right mind would have them run anything more than a lemonade stand.

By the way, rumor is Reid Sigmon is taking over AD duties for the time.

He's also Haslam yes man. Worked with Haslam at the Browns.

We need a purge. Clean slate. It should require action from the board of trustees, but they're mostly Haslam-friendly idiots too. Hopefully the tide is turning and people wake up

He almost baited Currie into hiring Schiano so I would call him the master baiter.

It's like Washington DC. Incredible... Blackburn would stand up to Haslam, that's exactly why they didn't hire him according to Tony Basilio.

Welp, that means that we are eternally screwed. I mean who is gonna push the Haslams out?

The only person who could push the Haslams out of the way is someone who wields a bigger stick, and there is at least one such person. Consider this: Currie's secrecy was broken by someone today just in the nick of time. The outrage that followed was big and explosive, and we got lucky that the offer was rescinded. Who caused this information to be divulged while there was still time for things to change? I hate being in the dark - we all do. It's like we get brief glimpses of things that are occurring behind the scenes, but never enough to paint a clear picture.

Of this I am sure - if someone hadn't let the cat out of the bag AND if we didn't have the most loyal (and fed up) fans and alumni in the world, we would have been watching Greg Schiano on a podium in Knoxville tonight or tomorrow. I've got no confidence in Currie or House of Haslam; however, there was more than luck involved in dodging the bullet that was headed our way today. Someone has our back and is working against Currie and the Haslams with everything they've got.

Kudos to all of us "little" alumni and fans - let the outrage continue.
