This reminds me of 15 years ago when they were telling us the trans stuff was just college kids and fringe party members.

Shortly after we had a vice president who openly admitted she helped fund sex changes for illegal immigrants who were incarcerated.

Within the last month more evidence came to light showing California doesn’t just do this for incarcerated illegal immigrants, but rather they do this for all illegal immigrants.

The continued radicalization of the left is beyond wild

LOL so him showing up and being friends and campaigning with Bernie Sanders, AOC, Zohran Mamdani, Illhan Omar, that Hezbollah nutjob from Michigan, as well as being profiled and given a platform by the NY Times, Washington Post, Bulwark, Young Turks, Tennessee Holler, and literally dozens of leftist social media influencers as well as becoming the main DSA speaker for liberal college groups on 22 major campuses are all "people right of center trying to pick a controversial figure"?

There is a movement under way to have him be a main speaker at the Dem 2028 Convention

There are tons of popular left wing figures who check all those boxes that aren’t labeled as “the face of the socialist party”.

Yes, it is guilt by association. Why would he associate with Piker?

Condemn one thing he said, while continuing to hangout with him doesn’t really impress me. It sounds more like he said what he had to to get elected.

“Guilt by association is a logical fallacy where a person is deemed guilty or negative based solely on their connection to a disfavored group or individual. It is a form of ad hominem attack that wrongly transfers negative attributes from one entity to another”

If one agrees with and shares most of the views of the people that are their friends and ask for support from, is it "wrongly transferring their negative attributes"?

Most liberal social media personalities, the MSM, your DSA and left leaning candidates in the party....the Washington Post, Bulwark, NY Times, Reason, TN Holler, etc. all ran stories on him in the last two weeks promoting him. The NY Times just gave him a full OP-ED interview with two others about why murdering the CEO and stealing from businesses isn't that bad

Do you think Sanders, Omar, AOC, Mamdani and such just pick rando podcasters to campaign with and invite as their friend places?

He is the most viewed leftist podcaster in the country, and is regularly invited not only to local and state Dem meetings, but across tons of college campuses to speak

It’s one thing to be critical of Piker’s rhetoric and actions, but that is independent of other political leaders actions. Yet Piker’s negative attributes get conflated to others through the matter of association alone, despite them being two different entities.

If I have a good friend who espouses those views, my wife and other people I associate with have said those views, and I myself have stated similar views in the past.....what conclusion would that lead you to?

That doesn’t mean he’s the “face” of the party. By that metric we might as well crown Ben Shapiro as the leader of the right.

Any politician will rationally go on a podcast where there is a large audience. Bernie Sanders has gone on Joe Rogan several times. That doesn’t mean he agrees with Joe Rogan on everything.

What exactly are you referring too? The 9/11 comment or free public buses? They espouse the latter, but not the former. Hence why you are generalizing.
