Has there ever been a season like this.

I just dont remember a season that had as much riding on it as this one. Also one that was as capable of going either way as this one is. I think the future of our program is tied to our performance this year and I have absolutely no idea what will happen. Am I alone in this?

maybe it's just me...but this season is nearly like all the rest...some are optimistic, some aren't....some say Fulmer must win to stay, some don't. This is actually the first summer I've been a message board reader...maybe that's my problem...

Rex, I'd say last year was a lot like that, and next year ('08) probably will be, too. '05 had a different feel with all of the high expectations, but that didn't turn out so well.

I understand what you are saying, but I think I've heard similar questions before every season as far back as I can remember.

This season is just as important as any other. No more, no less. Most people have high expectations heading into the season, a few are predicting the worst. Nothing new as far as I can tell.

I don't believe this season is any more important to the future of the program than any of the previous 100 or so.

Probably over dramatic but I do get Rexvol's point. Fulmer/Program is at a turning point in its history. Think this year's performance will dictate whether CPF is around for 0-2 years after this season.
