...over the last 10 years? Think about it...
*We knock out LSU's starting QB and RB in the Sec Championship game with a trip to the BCS national title game on the line, and manage to lose.
*We suffer two losing seasons in four years in football when we had only had one in the previous 20+ years.
*We speed through three head coaches in three years.
*The NCAA hangs its black cloud over the program for more than a year.
*We finally appear to be seeing the light at the end of the football tunnel, and we lose our three best players before the end of the fifth game.
...and that's just football. In basketball, we finally experience some success to soften the blow of the downfall of football, and then...
*The most polarizing figure to step on campus since Ray Mears, betrays an entire fanbase and makes a mountain out of a molehill by lying about a secondary violation.
*Again, the NCAA casts their dark shadow over the hill in no hurry to expidite the process, which in turn was as damaging as the actual sanctions because of the uncertainty.
Throw in baseball and the bang-up job Raleigh did in turning a once proud program into an SEC also-ran, and you have 10 years of intolerable cruelty suffered by UT fans. Here's to hoping for brighter days.
