Has Sunseri generated interest in recruits that weren't considering us before?

Just curious if there's any chatter on recruits giving us a new look with Sunseri here?

I know CSS is his lead recruiter, but was he not considering UT before that? I thought he was, but maybe I'm mistaken.

His situation is kind of odd, but UT wasn't recruiting him until Sal got here from what I know.

RE: Goldman. All CSS has to do there is cause Bama to devote a little more time or effort. Recruiting is a war... not a battle. If you can make your "enemy" use his limited time and resources to protect "safe" areas then he can't use them to attack yours.

Best job he's done so far is locking up what we already had coming in. Bonner will be a guy we get because of CSS though. I personally think he'll impact the 2013 class more than anything. Feels good to have two closers(Dooley and Sunseri) on staff though. With Hinshaw, Graham, and Joseph doing a lot of the dirty work.

I agree. '13 is when Sal will have the biggest impact. This late in the game it is hard for him or any new coach to have a big impact. Obviously he has had an impact with Bonner which is huge. But McCullers was done weeks before Sal was hired. I think we'll see Pittman also become a major factor in '13 compared to these last few weeks.

I just wish they were bringing in a defensive line coach that has a good recruiting reputation. Tennessee cannot afford to bring in just a "good coach" who doesn't double as a good or even solid recruiter. It would suck to replace Lance Thompson with someone that can't do any damage out on the recruiting trail.

That's why Saban kicks ass on the recruiting trail. He has good recruiters all over his staffs. CLT didn't recruit well here because you're not getting an Alabama kid if Bama or the Barn are good. This state isn't like Tennessee. Everyone here (except for me lol) are either Tide or Tiger fans. CLT is good in the state of Bama evident with Shanks. Watch CLT blast back up the recruiter rankings since he can recruit with freedom under Saban in T-town. I hope our new guys can recruit. Heard Palermo is looking like the D-line coach.

SN: who is Pittman?????
